PreSales Consultant (m/f/d)

As a Presales Consultant, you guide prospects and partners through the technical and solution side of the sales process. You bring DocuWare to life with clear, credible solution stories, working closely with Sales Directors, Partner Managers, and Professional Services. You apply a solution-selling approach so every interaction feels consistent, helpful, and focused on real customer needs. You provide timely technical guidance across active opportunities and help the sales team move confidently from first conversation to decision.

Demonstrations

• You deliver engaging, high-quality product demonstrations that highlight real value.
• You prepare and maintain demo environments and scenarios so they are always ready to use.
• You tailor demonstrations to common customer use cases.
• You keep messaging consistent and the demo flow crisp and reliable.

Opportunity engagement

• You contribute to typical sales opportunities with clear, practical solution guidance.
• You join partner and customer meetings when your expertise helps move the deal forward.
• You answer product and technical questions throughout the sales cycle, translating complexity into clarity.
• You help sales teams advance early- and mid-stage opportunities.

Sales enablement

• You create demo materials and presentation content that tell a compelling, accurate story.
• You handle routine technical documentation requests promptly.
• You provide thoughtful responses to basic customer requirements and coordinate next steps when needed.
• You make sure presales activities stay on track across active opportunities.

Process and quality

• You maintain commonly used demo scenarios and shared materials.
• You suggest improvements that raise demo quality and consistency.
• You share insights on recurring customer requirements to inform our approach.
• You promote efficient use of presales assets, tools, and environments.

• You have foundational experience in presales, solution consulting/selling, or another customer-facing technical role, ideally in software or SaaS. If you’re earlier in your career, relevant exposure is a strong plus.
• You understand software solutions, workflows, and business applications and can connect the dots between them.
• You quickly grasp customer requirements and map them to standard product capabilities and use cases.
• You are comfortable running product demonstrations, proofs of concept, and technical workshops from planning to delivery.
• You are hands-on with technology, possess strong computer skills, and confidently demonstrate software to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• You collaborate smoothly with Sales, Professional Services, and implementation teams to keep opportunities moving.
• You combine entrepreneurial thinking with a strong, customer-first mindset.
• You communicate fluently in English and German (spoken and written).

• Globally distributed, international teams: You will find our teams working in Germering, New York, Sofia or other worldwide locations.
• This is a hybrid role: As Director UX, you work in our Germering (Munich) Office or can choose to work from home in a reasonable amount
