Your Responsibilities
This is a weekly hybrid role out of the Beacon, NY office. Must have the ability to be in office at least two days a week.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including vendor contracts, strategic partner agreements, licensing agreements, statements of work, and NDA’s.
  • Assist with corporate governance matters and compliance initiatives, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory obligations.
  • Provide support to global legal initiatives and group policies through projects directed by Director of Legal & Compliance.
  • Stay current on relevant laws and industry trends affecting the business, particularly technology sector.
  • Provide timely and accurate legal advice to internal stakeholders on all corporate legal matters.
  • Collaborate with management to align and support corporate strategic initiatives.
  • Work closely with governance, compliance and risk assessment departments to support processes and adherence.
  • Manage communications and support from outside counsel when deemed necessary.
What you need to succeed
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed in New York.
  • Five to seven years of related experience in corporate law, contract negotiation and business transactions.
  • Strong understanding of commercial transactions, intellectual property, data privacy, and technology law.
  • A firm grasp of legal terms and conditions to ensure that contracts, regulatory, and license programs meet all legal requirements.
  • Proven experience in contract management, overseeing the entire life cycle process.
  • Experience with software and service industry preferred.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Acute attention to detail and strong negotiating skills.
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and effectively.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards. Exercises good judgement.
What we can offer
  • The pay range is between $136,000 and $160,000 depending on experience.
