Your Responsibilities
We’re looking for a Helpdesk Technician to empower DocuWare’s internal customers (employees) through exceptional IT support. You’ll resolve helpdesk issues quickly, assist with new software and hardware setups, troubleshoot Microsoft-based problems, deploy peripherals, and coordinate laptop repairs. You’ll also set up new computers, desks, contribute to documentation, and lead internal processes like onboardings and ticket workflows. Participate in initiatives to enhance the user experience at our Beacon office and perform additional duties focused on learning and growth.   • Resolve issues reported to the helpdesk system within the define metrics such as resolution time, response time and employee satisfaction
  • Support with the introduction and acquisition of new software and hardware solutions
  • Troubleshoot problems within a Microsoft-based environment
  • Deploy peripherals and other hardware to employees
  • Dispatch laptop repair technicians through Dell
  • Set up new computers
  • Set up employees’ desks
  • Contribute to our technical documentation
  • Develop and/or lead internal processes such as Onboardings and Ticket workflows
  • Supports the education of working students and junior employees
  • Participate in a variety of helpdesk initiatives aimed at enhancing the user experience at the Beacon office 
  • Perform other duties as required, with a focus on learning and growth
What you need to succeed
  • Bachelor’s degree OR 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to sit and stand throughout the workday. This role always requires the ability to lift 35 to 50 pounds as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CompTIA A+ certification (preferred)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • A willingness to learn
What we can offer
  • Annual salary of $45,000 to $60,000 depending on experience.
  • This is an hourly position with a standard 40 hours work week, Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm EST.
