Your Responsibilities
Any other duties as requested by management.As the Content Writer/Onboarding Specialist you would assist the department by writing, editing and redacting technical content for Knowledge Base Articles, Internal user's guides, and publications. You would also be the primary individual responsible for all onboarding and training programs for new team members.

This is a hybrid role and requires regular weekly travel to the Beacon, NY office.
  • Coordinates training for support department personnel, including but not limited to, classroom-style teaching, videos, or e-learning.
  • Creates and maintains course content, manuals, or other training materials.
  • Manage training documentation for the Support Department, including procedures, policies, and compliance standards.
  • Test, review, and update Knowledge Base Articles from the Americas, APAC, and EMEA regions.
  • Responds to comments added to Knowledge Base Articles.
  • Manage and responds to Community forum postings “Help with technical problems” and “Questions about Usage and Configuration”.
  • Research and analyze low-performance KBA and how to improve them.
  • Research and analyze high-performance KBA and why they are successful.
  • Provides monthly report: KBAs published, unpublished, archived, discarded, top-performing articles, site traffic of support portal.
  • Any other duties as requested by management.
What you need to succeed
  • 4 years college degree, preferably in communications, and or 3+ years of job experience. 
  • Would prefer a minimum of 2 years' experience supporting, installing and configuring Windows software.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a high level of competency with software and operating systems, in a Windows environment.
  • Must possess a thorough understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP,DNS, DHCP)
  • Knowledge of databases (MS-SQL, MySQL, Oracle) 
  • Possess excellent analytical and organizational skills, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.

  • This is a salary (exempt) position with a annual salary range of $55,000 to $60,000
  • Standard 40 hours work week, Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm EST
