This is a hybrid position and requires the ability to be present at the Beacon, NY office as often as required. This can be anywhere from 2 to 5 days per week.
Your Responsibilities
The task of the Helpdesk Technician is to enable DocuWare employees by providing comprehensive IT support.

  • Resolve issues reported to the helpdesk system within the define metrics such as resolution time, response time and employee satisfaction.
  • Support with the introduction and acquisition of new software and hardware solutions.
  • Troubleshoot problems within a Microsoft-based environment.
  • Deploy peripherals and other hardware to employees.
  • Dispatch laptop repair technicians through Dell.
  • Set up new computers.
  • Set up employees’ desks.
  • Contribute to our technical documentation.
  • Develop and/or lead internal processes such as Onboardings and Ticket workflows.
  • Supports the education of working students and junior employees.
  • Participate in a variety of helpdesk initiatives aimed at enhancing the user experience at the Beacon office.
  • Perform other duties as required, with a focus on learning and growth.
What you need to succeed
  • Bachelor’s degree OR 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to sit and stand throughout the work day. This role always requires the ability to lift 35 to 50 pounds as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • CompTIA A+ certification (preferred).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Team player.
  • Ability to be present at the Beacon office as often as required. This can be anywhere from 2 to 5 days per week.
  • A willingness to learn.
What we can offer
  • Competitive starting salary of $58,000 to $63,000 depending on experience.
  • This is an hourly position with a standard 40 hours work week, Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm EST.
