This is a hybrid position and requires the ability to be present at the Beacon, NY office as often as required. This can be anywhere from 2 to 5 days per week.
Your Responsibilities
The task of the Helpdesk Technician is to enable DocuWare employees by providing comprehensive IT support.
- Resolve issues reported to the helpdesk system within the define metrics such as resolution time, response time and employee satisfaction.
- Support with the introduction and acquisition of new software and hardware solutions.
- Troubleshoot problems within a Microsoft-based environment.
- Deploy peripherals and other hardware to employees.
- Dispatch laptop repair technicians through Dell.
- Set up new computers.
- Set up employees’ desks.
- Contribute to our technical documentation.
- Develop and/or lead internal processes such as Onboardings and Ticket workflows.
- Supports the education of working students and junior employees.
- Participate in a variety of helpdesk initiatives aimed at enhancing the user experience at the Beacon office.
- Perform other duties as required, with a focus on learning and growth.
