Our company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Director for our Northeast region to join our team. The territory covers New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Quebec, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.  The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sales management and a proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing high-performing teams.

For this position you will need to live within New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, Vermont, Massachusetts.
Your Responsibilities
As the Senior Sales Director for our Northeast region you will be responsible for:
  • Providing strategic leadership and vision to our sales team, with the goal of driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets within the region.
  • Leading Regional Sales Directors and Channel Managers to set sales targets, monitor sales performance, and develop effective sales strategies and tactics.
  • Developing strong relationships with our channel partners, identifying new / business opportunities, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Working closely with the vice president and other members of the executive team to develop and execute sales strategies that support the overall business objectives.
  • Leading some direct sales efforts, developing strong relationships with key accounts, and initiating sales processes.
  • Managing a territory and performing as a “player coach” to gain a mastery of the business and set the example for excellence in the region.
  • Ensuring sales processes follow compliance and regulatory standards and make necessary adjustments to achieve this.
What you need to succeed
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, technical or related field required.
  • Experience in IT or Software business is a plus. 
  • 10+ years of experience in sales management or sales leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing high-performing teams and achieving sales targets in a complex and competitive market.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective sales strategies and tactics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Ability to build strong relationships with channel partners and key accounts.
  • Experience with enterprise content management applications, advanced capture and Saas applications is a plus.
What we can offer
  • Expected OTE for this region is $250,000. OTE is $150,000 base plus commission payments if targets are met.
  • Standard 40 hours work week, Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm.
  • DocuWare funds $2,000/$4,000 annually towards single/family HDHP deductible.
